IE Judge Re-Certification
There are 3 Steps that need to be completed for Recertification - Steps 1, 2 & 6.
🗹 STEP 1: Purchase Re-Certification online here & follow the instructions in the digital download.
CONGRATS! You've already accomplished this!
□ STEP 2: Workshop and Test ~90 minutes
The workshop is entirely asynchronous as of Feb ‘24.
You can complete it anytime on your own. Click here to watch the workshop videos and complete the test.
We want you to pass! BUT you must get 100% to move on to the next step.
□ [In Case You Missed It] STEP 3: Homework ~60 minutes
A. If you haven't already - Establish an account at tabroom.com and learn to navigate the site by watching the following videos
How to Create a Tabroom.com Account
How to Use Online Ballots
B. Within a week you will be assigned to judge a few practice rounds on tabroom.com. Watch the videos linked in the schematic and score/critique them in tabroom before you attend a Step 4 session.
□ [OPTIONAL] STEP 4: Zoom Q&A ~60 minutes
Attend a Zoom Q&A session. Review best practices for judging, critique writing, tournament procedures & tabroom.com. Have your questions answered by staff & committee members.

□ [OPTIONAL] STEP 5: Judge four rounds during this year's IE invitational season (prior to Regionals/States)
□ STEP 6: Complete the Judge Info Form prior to April 9, 2024 to be eligible for Regionals & States!

In order to become re-certified, you must score 100%. You can attempt the test multiple times until you score 100%.
