What is Individual Events? IE (aka Forensics) is comprised of twelve distinct events split broadly into two branches - Interpretation categories and Public Address categories. In Interpretation categories, students perform the work of another author. In Public Address categories, students are the authors of the material which they present.

On a 5-year rotating basis, one category from each branch (Interp & Public Address) also will have a "9/10" section, open only to freshmen and sophomores. The rotation is:
