Our Mission The Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association empowers students to become proficient and ethical communicators, critical thinkers, lifelong learners and leaders in a democratic society through interscholastic speech, theater and debate activities for middle and secondary school students.
In honor of our late friend and colleague, Brian Snell, MIFA will award up to $1000 per year to the contestant who finishes in first place in the category of Extemporaneous at the Class A Individual Events State Final Tournament.
