IE Judge Certification
INITIAL CERTIFICATION 
We've made the Initial Certification process even easier for 2025 
and mostly asynchronous so you can complete the following 6 steps on your schedule (ideally in this order):
  1. Purchase IE Judge Initial Certification from the Goods and Services Tab. ​You will receive downloadable instructions telling you how to proceed and access the next steps below. 
  2. Watch the IE Initial Judge Certification webinar and complete the test. You must score 100%.
  3. Homework: setup a tabroom.com account and judge a couple practice rounds
  4. Join us for a  Drop-in Q&A at a tournament or via Zoom
  5. Judge 4 rounds during the invitational season
  6. Complete the Judge Info Rounds Preference Form​
RENEWAL 
The Re-Cert process for 2025 is entirely asynchronous so you can complete the steps 1, 2 & 6 on your schedule (+ optional steps as desired):
  1. Purchase IE Judge Renewal Certification from the Goods and Services Tab. ​You will receive downloadable instructions telling you how to proceed and access the next steps below. 
  2. Watch the IE Initial Judge Certification webinar and complete the test. You must score 100%.
  3. [ICYMI] Homework: setup a tabroom.com account if you don't already have one
  4. [OPTIONAL] Join us for a Drop-in Q&A to answer all your questions.
  5. [OPTIONAL] Judge 4 rounds during the invitational season
  6. Complete the Judge Info Rounds Preference Form
Reminders:
  • ​Head coaches are required to be certified
  • Judges for regional and state tournaments are required to be certified
  • Judges seeking certification for the 2024-25 Season must be at least (1) year out of high school
