Those of you who have looked at bylaws know that we are obliged to have one Superintendent on our Coucnil and one Principal. It has been a while since we have had either, but as a result of a volunteer stepping forward, and by act of the Michigan Association of School Administrators, we are happy to receive the appointment of Brian Davis, Superintendent of Schools in Holland, MI.
 
My brief interaction with Brian on a complicated membership issue leads me to believe he is intelligent, resourceful and eager to make institutions work to the benefit of kids. He is just our kind of administrator. I look forward to working with him in the future and I hope we can get him to attend a couple of our events this year. His perspective will help us spread the mission.
 
BTW, if any of you has a principal who might be a good choice for this working board, have him or her contact me and we'll do what we can to fill that other vacant admin seat on the Council.
